A good friend of mine recommended an album to me the other day: Ministry of Sound’s Chillout Sessions XI. Most compilations from the Ministry of Sound tend to be somewhat lackluster, and most electronic music mixes with more than 2 or 3 iterations (forget 11), tend to be subpar. But I gave this album a shot, and I’ve been listening to it constantly for the last few days. It’s two cd’s full of catchy, ridiculous summer tunes that all fall somewhere between 80′s rock and house music. A few highlights:
Winter is over. Spring is here, and summer is just around the corner. This is the perfect soundtrack for the season. Stupid happy music FTW!

Oooh, I think I just became addicted to these songs. Tomorrow might be the day I go out and buy a CD for the first time in about a year. Thanks for finding music stupid and happy enough to make me want to buy a cd!
